Normally i dread the end of the months..i usually look back and realise how much hours i've wasted.. how 30/31 days passed me by so quickly.. but today was different.. The day's been filled with coincidence

Spent the day bonding with K and my Dad.. had great randomn convos.. kicked started during breakfast at Gadong..The place was filled with middle aged businessmen and government servants.. It was like a networking site..I find it really personal compared to those angmoh-style power breakfasts..Talks on the economy, development etc etc were flying everywhere.. Managed to pick up a thing or two about the trick of the trades.. I liked it when controversial issues were brought up..

Oh, fell into a puddle of mud this morning.. K went hysterical.. I was beyond aghast! Fortunately, it was tooo early to get uptight.. so all was forgiven.. my own fault also bahh.. Popped by Hy's place but he went out.. thank goodness no one else saw my mud-puddle incident

Later on at noon, we went over to Serasa.. MY CHILDHOOD HOMETOWN! its true, i was born and bred in Muara Town.. it's like on the other end of Brunei.. had to go check up on K's childhood home for maintanance and stuff.. ironically we're a year apart and ive never lived a day in that house..So today was sort of like a first timer for me.. My causins live right next door.. so i went over to play pingpong for a short while.. They're the true blue Muara-langs.. they're the very few ones left..most of us packed up and migrated closer to the city over the years

Its been more than 10 years since i last lived in Serasa.. nothing much has changed.. i can still remember and recognise most of the fixtures.. granted there's more shop houses now..its tooo farr from Bandar.. people dont prefer the commute.. To get to Muara Town from my current house is liteally a one way streeet.. all u have to do is drive straight all the way! serious!

Dad had to meet up with a friend at the Jati's Textile Factory.. it manufactures branded clothes for export in USA.. why local people never see their products? There's this lease that bans them from selling locally.. its sole purpose if to make and shipp.. No cameras were allowed though XC.. had to watch about 300+ workers hard at work through a glass screeen.. Wanted to get up close but it was too stuffy and hot..

Textile is the next real thing aside from oil and gas.. Its potential is there yet its not doing so well..

Later on at Unitek i met up with Shy.. great coincidence.. more than 3 times this month alone i've met here whenever i went out.. Reen too! Complained about The Lost Ship.. I still behkamwan empire's fooood.. The food at Din's place is awesomeeeee! Definately recommend.. wish it had non-halal stuffs though..

Im beat..supposed to be at a wedding..Let Shen and J take our place..

July has about 3 more hours before it comes to a close.. its been real quick..much has happened and i need sleeeeeep!

As L puts it, its probably the first time we're all so happy this month..the past few weeks have been spent moaning about exams and insonmia, we needed a break..

So after ANC, Men gang and i invited Nafi to play with us Taboo.. Mw was in his usual restless mood..so he wasnt a permanent player.. Loads of jinxing and shouting around.. Competition between Team Alpha and Team Beta was vicious.. till we ignored the timing and score taking.. Halfway through, Rayman broke the tension by accusing us of gambling.. =_= ITS TABOO KALIAH! he went on and on about L being rich from card games etc etc.. Turns out people immediately downstairs from us were playing poker.. Then Rayman went on about us failing AS English..




The word AH MENG, came up twice in our Lightning Rounds.. and coincidentally Meng Wee picked one up.. Apparenly Ah Meng is a famous zoo icon.. She's the smiley looking Sumatran Orangutan above.. so famous that she has shooked paws with MJ and Prince Philip.. But being famous has its toll.. This one orangutan has fell 7 stories, threw herself at a fan for touching her trainer and been attacked by a visitor.. Pretty impressive for a primate who lives in a zoo.. Cant meet her anymore.. she died last year.. Ah Meng Jr is still around though XD

Didnt study for chem last weekend.. i wanna say i feel guilty, but to be honest, ive been in this 'fail fail lah' mode for a few days now.. Mocks is too draggy.. first premature, now draggy.. no surprise everyone sien ler..

Reality will hit once i get my results.. This is just a phase that i'll eventually overcome..

The weekend was worth it..Doreen's Bday was on Sat niteeee and Empire Carnival was on Sunday..Didnt get to play water bouncer at Reen's..my own fault loh..after coming back from my aunt's i doozed off.. hai si everyone late..i dashed and grabbed A SKIRT! *SMACKS HEAD* of all the days i decide to wear skirt ah..

But nevermind, i realised i had a massive headache later on.. Guess the pantang is true then.. cannot mandi as soon as you wake up.. will sakit kepalas wan..

Everyone enjoyed Jm's gift.. it was this 30kg pink bear..i dropped my subtle hints ler.. i want a panda one! with its own bamboo stick.. it'll make me feel less bad about my own eyebags.. HAHA

Sunday was perfect for beach outings.. the sun was stingy so less tan for everyone.. no complaints hereee! Went to Empire with XL, Hy, K and Jm.. we split up as soon as we met S, Tyng, Stephy, Hannah, Jo and Jo's sis by chance at The Lost Ship.. Jo's 'quote' still stays on in my mind..cant remember the zombies/hantuss faces much anymore.. I recommend Jo to be your next haunted house companion.. 5 stars!

Sand wading,Tug-0f-war,Hunger strikes and complains, kayaking etc etc.. *thumbs up*

OHH! kayaking gets two thumbs up man.. wish we could do it out in the open sea.. less banging and crashing at difficult corners..arms aching from rowing

Glad i went to Empire even if it was really impromptu.. Regret not having a waterproof camera.. it's dead useful outdoors..

Every soon to be 18 year old, spends hours dreaming of the future.. not serious stuff about life etc,..more about the freedom they will attain once they have a driver's license.. But then again, little do they know, mobility has its price to pay..

For two days in a row, L and M came over supposedly to hang out..but L's car was being used.. so we had to stay indoors.. Jobless and penny less, we spent two afternoons gossiping, eating and playing an array of board games namely Career and Cluedo.. attempted to play Pictionary and Taboo.. but we were insecure about our descibing and drawing skills..

This brings back lots of childhood memories.. whenever the sun was shining too brightly or it rained hard, we 3 used to stay indoors and play cards/boardgames..Its beeen years since i last played them.. Career is definately the best.. Gives everyone a chance to dream about the future.. My future turned out alright.. I ended up having a Science Degree..ecologist-astraunaut-businesswoman and politician rolled into one.. not bad ei! Career's pretty true to life too.. there were times i found myself lacking Happiness but overdosed with Fame and Cash..

Life's like a board game.. heaps of opportunity and experience.. luckily our moves arent based on numbers on a dice.. and with every round, dejavuu seldom happens..Best part is getting to bump others to happen to steal your thunder! Bribing..very very realistic ei?

Didnt get to hang with Chinatown at Fraitini's noon today..SORRY FOR THE PPK!!..However my parents picked up regular margarita pizzas on the way back for dinner.. so it was yet another Fratini Friday..

Physics is tommorow.. im not on my A-game.. i forsee nothing short of a suicide mission..

happy birthday HM!

As we all know, no fancy celebrations this year for HM's birthday.. to be honest, in my whole life, i've never made my way down to the padang on HM's birthday, nor to the gala dinner at night.. Pity i feel.. this is the man who provided us free education, free housing, and free health care for as long as my IC is yellow..Just my luck, things to add to my bucket list: 1. Attend HM's birthday celebration 2. Get a personal picture side by side with HM for my great great grandkids to show off one day

Much has happened in Brunei these few days.. Everyone is making reference to HM's pre-birthday Titah.. Its pretty interesting.. Heard exerps of it on the way to school yesterday..All these talks about lobbying for donations, H1N1 and IRK being compulsory.. i remember last year's Titah about food shortage..spent the rest of the year hoping it would be the IT topic for karangan..

Went out to Excapade with K and the family last night.. business was slow.. Pasti because of H1N1..didnt gorge down as much..I felt queasy halfway and even till now.. its annoying to be honest.. i dont like falling sick during exam weeks.. this is my 'punishment' for never exercising..and staying up at night..

OH! the highlight of my night! Imagine this girl kid, no taller than my waist.. doing MJ's signature hand-on-crotch dance in the middle of the MALL! SO HILARIOUS! THIS was my mistake: i had a camera and i shouldnt have hesitated.. I mean her mother was standing a few feet away also enjoying the spectacle.. *smacks self* next time i'll just snap and be sure to walk really really fast in the opposite direction

Met K's really frendly friends from HK last night at Unitek.. Brunei really is getting smaller la.. what are the chances of being at the same place and the same time? Apparently, they're staying nearby too..

Anna called to say that she has defied science.. apparently, while im toiling away for QE, she's at home watching her wings grow.. she announced that they're white and she's spending every second brushing them tenderly.. I say, you should be pumping iron! those 'wings' need to be able to take you all the way to UK!

Ohhh! hope the doctors at RIPAS wont see them and freakk out tommorow.. let's just say, i hope they believe in angels.. for instead of the hepatitis shot you ordered, they might just take you down!

Life has been busy people..

the week is coming to a close..

and im dreading mocks.. who isnt?.. since K's been back, its been a Pesta Makan at my house all week.. no complains here.. Food seems to be the only thing that cheers me up lately..

School started four days ago..and it already feels like a never ending rollercoaster ride.. no, im not referring to the 'thrilling' and 'exciting' bit here.. more like the throwing up bit.. in five days, i experienced dejavuuss more than anybody else in their lives.. been sleeping really late, and getting up really late for school.. twice in a row, i ran straight into the car without breakfast..4 days in a row, i walked into class homeworks undone, mind blanked..

Oh well, ive only got enough time till dinner, then im pulling an all nighter.. times like these, it would help to be a hamster. A) hamsters dont need to go to school B) hamsters are nocturnal

I on the other hand, have to face premature mocks.. and im dependant on mr.brown and boh teh!

oh well, like mr.keating once told the world,

i wish i had a body double, that way, SHE gets to ride it on my behalf..

Speaking of Chong Hock, to my surprise, DVDs are very overated these days.. have the world market for pirated dvds crashed? how else would it explain the dvd9 prices? 7bucks?! unitek <5 bucks lehh.. K and i were so tempted to commit a crime there.. but the surveillance was just 12 o'clock, too risky..NO we DID NOT INTEND TO STEAL..thats lame..we had better ideas..If the crime was commited, one bright side, no school tommorow
